Rebecca Thiegs has spent her life searching for balanced living.  She dedicates her days to incremental evolution, living simply with her two busy daughters, her husband, Eric, and her pug, Basil.  She loves (in no particular order) yoga, reading, writing, walking, playing tennis and traveling to touch life as often as possible.

In what feels like a different lifetime, Rebecca spent 15 years as a high school English teacher where she was most inspired by the beautiful human beings she met in her classroom who trusted her with their stories and their truths.  She loved creating the right environment to allow creative writing to happen, and was awed by conversations on themes in classic literature.  She earned her Masters of English Education (with an emphasis on experiential learning) from the University of Minnesota (Go Gophers!).

She has been a dedicated yoga practitioner for 25 years, and earned both her 200 Hour and 500 Hour yoga certification.  Combining her love of writing, self-inquiry and her years on the mat, Rebecca teaches workshops that challenge her students to take the lessons they learn on the yoga mat into the world.

Currently, she is working on her first book and choosing curiosity and wonder in the process.
